To follow up from Wednesdays post here are some more resolutions that you could make to help you on your way to health and weight loss.
Eat mindfully. Whether you are eating your main meal, or snacking, be aware of what you are eating and your hunger level. Eat for energy and make food colorful, nutritious, and fun. Be aware of how you are feeling before, during, and after eating to see how different types of foods make you feel both physically and mentally.
Eat breakfast. You've heard it time and time again that breakfast is the most important meal of the day so this year make it a habit. Those who eat breakfast are more likely to be less overweight, and eat more fiber filled, nutrient dense foods. Don't let the "I don't have time to eat breakfast" get in your way – this is one thing to make the time for.
Eat together. Eating together as a family is good for you and your family. It does not have to be every night of the week, but try for 1 or 2 nights of good old family time with no tv, phone, or internet interruptions.
